Last flight of the Monarch butterfly?

The symbol of the NAFTA agreement is the Monarch butterfly — chosen because of its annual migration across Mexico, the U.S., and Canada. But as the leaders of those nations met this week for the “Three Amigos” talks, some say the Monarchs may be readying for their final flight.

We hear from Monarch watchers Ina Warren, Don Davis, and Candy Sarikonda. Conservation biologist Karen Oberhauser explains what scientists believe is causing the butterfly’s staggering decline and what ordinary people might be able do to help the Monarch return.
